Q: Adrienne, do you really think people care what you have to say?
A: I can't speak for everyone, but I do have one extremely loyal reader who hangs on my every word. Maybe that person is me, maybe it's not. The point is, as long as there is one person who cares, I will continue this blog, no matter how much time I waste doing it.
Q: What inspired you to create a blog?
A: Money. But it turns out you can't charge people $29.99 every time they want to read a blog entry. Evidently "that's not the way it works." Unfortunately, no one informed me of this ahead of time, so my financial model is now in ruins.
Q: Let's say I printed your blog out, then, using scissors and sticky tape, I created a cone with the paper. The cone is formed with an arc length AB equal to 20 cm. As the cone is formed from a sector of a circle with angle 72 degrees, what is the radius of the circle from which the sector is taken?
A: Oddly, I get this quesiton quite a bit. The answer is r = 15.915 cm.
