Hi there. It's Adrienne again. Listen, I'm pretty much going to be the one blogging here, because Shannon is busy with her other job (in addition to being a writer, she runs Bean Sprouts, a kids' cafe in Madison, WI).
OK, so I knew our Momnesia book was being carried at Barnes & Noble, and I knew they were planning to display it for Mother's Day. But still, that didn't prepare me for this image, sent to me by my mom (way to be on the scene, mom!).
See our book there in the bottom corner?? Yay!
When I saw this, I had to take a moment. I literally had to get out of my chair and lie down on my back, on my office floor. I was just too excited. I needed to collect myself. The same thing happened a few years ago when I saw one of my greeting cards on the shelf at a store. I had to immediately come home and lie down on my office floor. (Why my office floor? I have no idea. But there you go.)
I wonder if the other authors who are featured on this Barnes & Noble table do the same thing. Thirty different writers, lying on their backs on the floor... collecting themselves. All because of one little display.
